Home warranty information
For homeowners considering the purchase of home warranties. Before committing to a particular
 home warranty company, make sure you find out who their local service companies are, plumber,
electrician, a/c and appliance repair. Once you get the list, call those companies and verify that 
they are affilliated with the warranty company you are considering!

Another alternative to this would be to find out if they would cover you using your own 
contractor. You may have to pay the contractor and get reimbursed by the warranty firm.
If they say they will allow this, then you need to get it in writing from them stating that they will
 cover the cost and coverage the same as they would if they had their own contractor do the
 repairs.

* Most of the time a close diagnosis and estimate can be given over the phone for plumbing and drain work based on the description of the problem that the customer gives and answers to a few questions asked about the possible work needing to be performed.


* If an onsite estimate needs to be done, based on the job location, travel cost and the time it takes to do the estimate, there may be a charge for this service.
